I randomly remembered my pw for this. :)

2011 is here now &as I reflect on 2010, the thought of how fast life goes is constantly on my mind. Time sure does fly!!! 2011 is here&that means I turn 21 (&a lot of my homies) also turns 21!!!:) I am so excited!

I am not just looking forward to that however. I am anxious to continue to live out my dream, which is perfect in all its imperfections. Nobody ever told me that as I aspire to achieve my dreams my journey becomes a dream in itself. Sometimes I even catch myself thinking if this life Gos has blessed me with is reality. It is so crazy! I am truly grateful. Every person, experience, thought, smile, etc in my life thus far has constructed my reality into a dream. No Im not saying my life is perfect, but honestly, I wouldnt want it any other way.:)

Today is the start of a new beginning. God graciously blessed me with another beautiful sunshiney day!!! No minute of this day is going to waste, all will be surrendered up to Him for His Glory! Today I vow to live my life to the fullest. Today I vow to love everybody with all I have because He loved&loves me with all His beautiful power. You all are quite someone special, whether you notice it or not. He loves you so much, &so do I. I don’t care if you do me dirty or if you don’t…what matters is that He loves you. I love you. You’ve got the ability to do whatever you want, to be happy, to choose to get up when you fall, anything. Make the most of today guys! Make the most out of the opportunities given to us by our Saviour because tomorrow may never come…Love with all your heart, mind, &soul. You are loved..always. :)

Finally saw Inception tonight. It was pretty good but a bit slow&predictable at the end in my opinion. Everybody said it definitely was a thought jogger. I agree with them to an extent but I honestly feel like what I got from it might not be what they got from it.

Dream vs. Reality

To me Inception was about how society today is settling for less. Many feel like they can’t go anywhere from where they are, their reality is where they are stuck at, and their dreams are always left as dreams. We grow so accustomed to what we have now or what we don’t have and we don’t do anything about it. Whatever happened to chasing dreams? Now most kids do is just chase after materialistic possessions that in the end, doesn’t even matter. They chase after boys/girls, money, electronics, ya know..the “goods”. I wish people saw that the dream of finding genuine happiness ends when you settle for these materials. Inception, to me, definitely gives out the message of making your dream into a reality. Your dream of a better world, better place, better environment for others around us. Eliminating racism, hypersexualized media, injustices to create a world where it is finally safe and okay for my younger brother to walk on the street at is a dream. Many people told me that Inception messes with your mind because you can’t tell the difference between reality and dreams but really I don’t think that matters a whole lot. What matters is that you could turn your dreams into a reality if you truly believe in yourself&keep working towards that goal! Inception reminded me that my dream could be my reality still. Why settle for less when you can have the best? Inception motivates me to continue to start living my dream so it will finally be my reality. I hope one day people will start realizing their own worth, &they’re worth a lot, so they don’t have to settle for less. As long as people can change, this world can change. &I hope it is for the better&good of others.
